I'm so happy to see so many KC area cd moms! I'm in OP (close to 95th and Metcalf) so a lot of us are relaly close to each other!

That's encouraging

She is just extremely attached to me. She is excited and talks about her baby sister all the time, we've tried to prepare her, so hopefully we've done a good job

I have a 28 month old and a 5 1/2 month old and they are awesome together!! (I have a 6 1/2 year old as well)....They all get along great and I have never had any 'jealousy' type issues. =)

I am in Lenexa. Do you all participate in any playgroups or meet ups? I would love to try and get out more now that the weather is getting nice! I tried the JOCO moms group and SAHM group but eh, not my thing, I would totally just like to meet up with a couple of cool moms!

I am in olathe. I tried the playgroups around here a few times and I agree. I would totally be willing to meet at the park or something to play.

I'm the official organizer of the JOCO Moms group on meetup, but haven't actually done anything aside from behind-the-scenes work with the group for ages, since all of Ryan and James' friends have moved or gone on to full day school and I don't feel like I can take them to baby stuff for Leo. I'd really like to step down from that position, but have to convince someone to take over and figure out the legal stuff...

Anyway, back to the real topic, we'd love to participate in a less formally structured playgroup, especially if we did park type stuff where my variety of ages could all find something to do!

Wow, it looks like a lot of us would love to get together!!! Awesome! I am too tired to organize something this minute but would love to set a date/time/park to meet up. What day and time usually works best for you all? I am open most days except Tuesday. Mia is usually in school until 3 but is on spring break for another week. So ko park is next to me but I am open to going wherever

I'm free W-F with my girls in the afternoons like 12:30-2:45. After 3 I have my son and could do until 5 most days.

I plan on posting an open call for sometime next week, weather pending!
