Thumbs up Anyone ever hear about morning sickness returning?

This is nuts, i had horrible m/s for about 5-6 weeks, then it went away...so i thought, 5 days i was doing great, 2 days after my dr appt the nausea came back, the puking started up again soon after, i continued taking the preggy pop drops i got form lauri, they helped but not as good as the first time i think my body got m/s worse this time or soemthing, i couldnt hold anything down, not even water, so i called my dr yesterday and asked for nausea meds, he told me about some meds they give chemo patienst i was a bit nervous about taking soemthign liek that but it was ridiculoud, i havent eaten in 5 days, barely able to drink water and hold it down for maybe 5 minutes, i wasnt sure what was going on. the nurse called ina script for me at my pharmacy, so i went to pick them up last night, they make my mouth soo dry and make me soo tired out but they kind of worked last night, but i still puked again about an hour after taking it
so today i took another and i can only take 1 every 6 hours, i took one about 2 pm and i felt ok, i took another at 9pm and i havent puked all day i am happy to say they ARE working! so i wanted to share with any of you going through m/s to ask your dr about these, i know the B-6 and ginger root dont work, my dr todl em that flat out..lol
anyway the name os these i'm on is called PROCHLORPER, its generic for PROCHLORPERzine
i feel great right now aside form being very sleepy

I have had a LOT of friends who relied on this method to make it through! Another had such severe Hyperemesis that she was on Zofran, not sure if its the same as what you (OP) are on.
I personally experienced morning sickness worse with every pregnancy and my last one did start and stop and start and stop. I think I threw up well into my 3rd trimester, but only in short spurts maybe a week at a time. It happened w/ #3 as well, I was barfing the night before I had him which was 2 days past due! UGH!
I haven't ever been able to find a homeopathic or OTC remedy for it, the Preggy Pops help me ONLY while they're in my mouth and some of them are nasty. LOL

C/P from WebMD.com:Long-term use of these medications may lead to a central nervous system disorder that causes twitching of the face and tongue and involuntary movements of the trunk and limbs (tardive dyskinesia).

In rare cases, acute difficulty making coordinated movements (dystonia)-such as abnormal involuntary movements or posture of the head, eyes, or limbs-may occur.

I was warned about this condition after talking to my neurology specialist reguarding migraine treatments. I was given an Rx for Phenagren which just KNOCKS me out! Then I was given Tigan b/c its less sleepy-ish but it made me vomit blood which started while I pregnant and has now started happening since as well. Anywho, my dr told me not to take these meds too much b/c it really CAN cause the acute facial twitch complication above. He says he treats it all the time! Just thought I'd throw that out for ya, I think Zofran may be safer but not covered by a lot of insurance companies.

Re: Anyone ever hear about morning sickness returning?

With my oldest I had morning sickness.. well anytime I ate sickness for the whole 9 months. All it took was eating 1 bite too many of anything I was eating and I threw up right then and there (sorry tmi)! Needless to say, I learned not to eat in public really fast, and got tired of shampooing my carpets

m/s sucks... but it is well worth it mama, hang in there.

Yup... morning sickness from about a week prior to the BFP (so 3 weeks or so) until 23 weeks and then from 27 weeks until he was evicted at 40 w. 5 days.

Yep, had it off and on from 7wks to 14wks this time & 9wks to 16wks with Sofia. The unisom & b-6 worked great for me (wasnt bad enough to need this time though).
