Birth control?

What kind of birth control (if any) are you planning to use after the baby is born?

I am probably going to get an IUD again. I don't really want to.. but I don't really want another baby right away either. Birth control pills make my sick, I don't like the idea of the shot/implant, DH and I have never used a condom and probably never will.. and I get pregnant really easily. Soo.. ?? IUD it is I guess, haha.

Re: Birth control?

I think I'm leaning towards an IUD as well. I'm just not sure if I want to go with the hormonal type or the non-hormonal.

Does anyone have experience with either, or even better, both to compare?

Re: Birth control?

We will just use NFP, but I am hoping to get a Lady Comp.

Re: Birth control?

I haven't used anything besides NFP for years, but I am thinking I will do the pill after this one. I am not ready for anything perm. and I am not comfortable w/ the idea of the IUD, it just sort of freaks me out a bit! I may try the ring or just do the pill.

Re: Birth control?

I'm thinking paraguard, Dh says he could feel my mirena but I liked the ease of the IUD.

Anyone know much about implanton??

Re: Birth control?

NFP would never work for me because of how insane my cycles (and lack of them) are with my PCOS. For instance, with DD, I hadn't had a period in about a year and probably would have ended up on that "I Didn't Know I Pregnant" show if I hadn't had the horrible morning sickness.

Re: Birth control?

I'm probably going to get an IUD. I can't remeber to take birth control pills. I mean, I do for the first few months, but after that I don't always take it right. That is how my first two were conceived. With this baby I was on nothing. I too am EXTREMELY fertile. If DH sneezes on me the right way, I'll get pregnant. DH is in the mindset right now that this is our last. If I listened to my head, I'd be done too. But my heart says I'd eventually like more. I am also still pretty young, and I don't want to do anything drastic just yet. So instead of going ahead with a vasectomy, I told DH that I'd get an IUD.

Re: Birth control?

I will go back with the Nuvaring until DH gets the big V done. I tried to get a Mirena after DD#2, but it perforated my uterus while being inserted...so, I am way too scared to try to get one again.
