Issues with HH's and leaking/wicking

Is it the fit? I have no idea! In my avatar my twins have on HH's and I specifically got the solid ones to prevent leaks, but they still get wet (I mean soaking, PUL and all) after about 45 minutes. I have tried every type of insert I have.. more, less, microfiber, hemp... they fit nice and snug against their legs and waist. I just don't get it. It's like the pee goes right through the center of the crotch! GRRR. Any opinions??

HH leaked for us too. THey didn't seem to fit right. I think they'e one of those diapers that either work awesome for you or don't work at all

I have never had any wicking probs with the solids, but have had fleece repelling probs. Do you dry your HHs? They do need to be dried to keep the pul sealed.
If that doesn't work, maybe contact them.

It could be from detergent buildup. Do you use a clean rinsing detergent like sensiclean or Charlie's Soap? Here http://www.sunshinediapers.com/u_troubleshooting.html is a site with lots of good info, check out the detergent residue section. HTH

I do dry mine, and I use Sun detergent on my dipes. I haven't had any issues with my FB or Swaddlebees... so I just dunno. I thought I read that Sun was an okay detergent?

I would strip them and if they still leak call the company. How many inserts do you use? I used two micofiber and at night I used one hemp under the two micofiber inserts.

Usually just 1 cottonbabies insert, sometimes a cottonbabies and an extra microfiber towel. But I've tried it w/a micro towel wrapped around joeybunz, hemp by itself, 2 cottonbabies, etc. Still leakage! I am gonna strip them today and see what happens.
