Put the doubler in the middle and start like you would a kite fold by bringing the corners up and in.

Bring pointy bottom up to be folded at doubler.

Bring sides again so points meet and bottom folds at doubler.

Grab at points and fold down and out to be straight across at bottom.

Fold top down and press it all smooth w/ hands.

Pull sings straight out and pull across nice and tight.

Be sure to overlap so the snappi grabs plenty of material and not baby's skin.
Snappi.

So trim and tight, it makes his bum look flat, lol!

My happy guy wanted just one more pic!
Oh great fold! Thanx!

Re: Flat fold tutorials - consolidated (SUPER pic heavy)

to op for doing this thread! I know so many flats lovers have been helped by it! This thead and the Flats Pic Thread have helped me to finally find the flats The only trouble I had was figuring out how to make them work when out and about (which we are ALOT!). I tried the diaper bag fold and now that problem has been solved so I'm using flats exclusively. I'm actually getting rid of all of my pf's (which were my FAVE till now ) to fund a beautiful woven wrap that I've been wanting. My new problem is that I want to buy every dyed flat that is up on fsot.

Re: Flat fold tutorials - consolidated (SUPER pic heavy)

Hi, I came up with this flat fold to address the needs of my newborn boy to contain his ebf poo and have enough absorbency up front. I call it Colt's Fold... here is a link to the thread I started as well as a link to the fold which is in my blog (couldn't figure out how to post pics in here) Hope you like it!

Re: Flat fold tutorials - consolidated (SUPER pic heavy)

Oh... and the flat is an osocozy, my son is 7 weeks and at least 12 lbs. Sometimes I add a preemie prefold in the center for extra absorbency- naps/night. I've also come up with a modified fold- Canon's Fold for older/bigger kids which I will post soon

Bumping just because I had to break into my large DR's today so my Osocozy's are now being relegated for padfolding. And I needed the tute for the tube padfold. Figured maybe other Mama's might find this thread useful in case they haven't seen it yet!

my phone thinks it's smart. pardon the typos.

Glad to see this. I bought some flats and haven't tried to figure it out yet Secondly the pic on the newborn with some serious rash and marks is awful looking
