So sorry- I felt the same way...as soon as I hit 6 weeks I had extreme nausea without vomiting. It drove me to the point where I WISH I would of thrown up. It subsided at 12 weeks, and nothing really helped. I did try ginger snap cookies, and that helped a bit. And chewing on ice. And of course, a cool rag on my head

Re: I hate being pregnant. :(

Just wanted to offer you TONS of sympathy. I was there with my first and I waiting for it start any time now, I will be 6 weeks tomorrow.
I found eating a little all the freaking time even in the middle of the night helped. It is always better to have some to come up then dry heaving. So sorry you are going though this... A trip stateside to load up on meds might be worth the $.

It really can be miserable during the m/s phase. Hugs to you. I hope the next 6 weeks rush by and you begin to feel better and enjoy your pregnancy.

Re: I hate being pregnant. :(

Just wanted to give a brief update. We went to the doc this morning and discovered why I'm so sick -- it's twins! We're in complete shock, but I guess that's to be expected. I'm on progesterone pills and an anti-nausea drug, and hopefully that'll help. Thanks for all the support and kind words!

I'm with the other mamas that said Zofran. It was a life saver for me. I wasn't even able to get up off the couch most days until I got prescribed Zofran.

Wow! Congrats! I hope the m/s goes away quickly for you. I didn't have all day sickness, mine was at night, but I definitely feel your pain. Hopefully yours will go away like most do.

And I agree, take your vitamin at night before bed, I do that and it really helped with my sickness feeling.

Yes, get Zofran! It will change your life!

Also, eating bread always helped me. Not like sandwhich bread, but dinner rolls, yeast rolls, or even garlic bread from the pizza shop. Some days it was all I could eat, but it helped. Maybe it was because it help keep the acid down.
