more stuff...aprons
I made these yesterday. They are for my niece's fundraiser. She is going to sell them for $3 each.
But, I think her mom may just keep them for my niece instead...which is what I hope happens. I put these together with some fabric I had left over from other projects. I think I started out with a 13" by 26" piece for the main part of the apron. The ruffle on the bottoms were 5" by 42" (or so). The waist bands ended up being 2" finished, and they were all different lengths (because I just used what I had). Oh, and these were made for younger girls, which is why they are on the small side.I used another apron as inspiration, although I made half aprons and not full aprons. This is my inspiration: ![]() Here is one with umbrellas and pink dots: ![]() Here it is on (it looks kind of funny, because I am hunched over trying to take the pic myself... And it's made for 10 year olds.): ![]() Birds and red dots and lace: ![]() ![]() Owls and orange floral: ![]()

Re: more stuff...aprons
I know. It's killing me that she wants to sell them for $3. They said it was because kids don't have that much money. Um..isn't school lunch like $2.25!!?? Plus, these kids have cell phones, lap tops, and all sorts of stuff. I don't think $5 is unreasonable.
