My first fleece longies

Here's my first attempt at sewing clothes. I figured fleece longies are the easiest to sew. So, here they are:

The rise on the 1st pair is super long because I forgot to factor in the waistband. Oops
I also attempted at ruffles w/a sewing machine. I think it didn't turn out too bad (I bent a needle with my practice run w/a piece of scrap )
Thanks for letting me share

Re: My first fleece longies

GRATS! good job, and they will get easier every time.

Long rises are fine... because they accommodate heavier diapers when you need them and the waist can always fold down. Easier to shorten long rise than deal with too short!

Those look fabulous!! I agree a long rise is no problemo (the mama-jean high waisted look can always be hidden under a long top) and I think you did a great job on the ruffle. Nice work!
