Re: What is your Daycare diaper?

We always used pockets that I stuffed for them or AIOs...the only difference between their handling of them and the disposables was mine went in a bag instead of the trash. I separated it all out when we got home.

That really was the easiest IMO.

We used Thirsties AIOs and BGOSs

Re: What is your Daycare diaper?

My daycare used to do BG for me, but it compression leaked on her Exersaucer too many times (was in there for longer periods of time than a normal kid due to special needs) and he is a super soaker due to his J tube. The exersaucer is an PITA to wash every single day, and it wasn't worth arguing about since she watches him for free.

We use Costco brand diapers for daycare.

Prestuffed pockets. I have a variety of brands, and send whatever is clean. I used to have some snaps, and she did fine with them but told me she really liked the velcro better. DH also liked velcro better, so I sold off all the snaps and now have an all velcro, all one size pocket stash. It works.

Re: What is your Daycare diaper?

We use flips for daycare, unless DH doesn't do laundry mid-week and then they get BG organics (which are what I primarily use on the weekend). I'd give them the organics all the time if I could afford to, but we don't do laundry often enough .

DS is in a center and there are 3 (of 9) in cloth in his class alone. He uses the flips, one parent uses prefolds + snappis with covers, and the third uses a mix of pockets and prefolds. I agree that the most important thing is to keep it simple and consistent (a few days in a row DS came home wearing one of his disposable back-up diapers and I didn't know what was going on because he had diapers in his bin -- turns out one of the teachers thought a snappi was necessary with the flip).

We used FBOS, HHOS or BGOS. The daycare loved them, especially the HHOS that had the cowprint

Re: What is your Daycare diaper?

We are using Huggies at daycare because our provider doesn't like using cloth. Makes me sad but I don't really have another option for care so we are dealing with it.

I'm hoping to show her that pockets are just as easy as disposables but we'll see. I'm still new to cloth but am loving it!!

Re: What is your Daycare diaper?

my daycare agreed to do cloth and they were ready to learn how to pin and fold flats etc but i just brought a stack of pocket diapers plus 2 boxes of dry cloth wipes already folded pop-up style and that was it. only issue was the disposal set-up, i gave 2 hanging wet bags and they are still researching the codes etc. to learn if they can still use those or if i have to bring in a trashcan with lid for them to store the dirty dipes in. i just separate everything once i'm at home.

Re: What is your Daycare diaper?

We use the disposable gDiaper system. I used to send Fuzzibunz, but she didn't really like the snaps, and putting a poopy diaper in the wetbag weirded her out. So one day she got sent with a gDiaper on - and I got to hear its praises when I picked up Little Bit.
So, since then, it's the 'g's.
