Re: Time for a new bump thread already?

Don't worry Tara, my boy was bigger by 1/2 a lb, but I was smaller by far!

Yeah. Really. It isnt as cool as it might seem, and everyone is always in a flurry about delayed fetal growth and malnutrition and folks looking at me like Im some weirdo who will steal a baby from someone in a few months because I cant really be telling the truth when I say Im 5 months pregnant... I have always carried really deep and small and lose weight at first, then dont gain but this time its a bit more extreme than before. And given my geriatric status, some of the providers in my OB group are a bit more nervous than usual.

In the end, I have 7 1/2 pound babies who are 20" long and everything is just fine. I just wish Id have a belly at some point. Maybe if I arch my back a little?

Ok. Now Im really going to TURN OFF MY COMPUTER and get something done. Its 9am. Its due time!

I'm like blonde....WAY bigger this time around. I'll post some comparison pics soon. I hit 24 wks tomorrow so I'll take a pic. Oh, BOTH boys so it apparently doesn't matter boy/girl in my case.

Yeah, that helps..if he's that much bigger than DD2, that will put me at a nearly 10# baby. ROFL!

Arch your back and stick your butt out. You'll be good.

You really shouldn't joke - my friend just told me that her brother was 10lbs when he was born and her mother delivered him vaginally!!! She went on to have another big boy via c-section. And then delivered TWIN BOYS VBAC. This woman was seriously a machine. But 10lb baby freaks me out.

And it's funny you should mention arching your back. I was at the maternity store and some tiny little thing had her big belly out and she was like oh I'm 6 months. I couldn't believe it! Then she said it's all in the posture and she stood up straight and about half of it went away. I try to remember to arch my back and stick my gut out when I'm in Costco so people will get outta my way!!

Oh, I'm not joking, honest! My DH's side are not big people, but they were all big babies. DH was 9#15.5oz 22". DD2 was 22.5" herself. (DD1 is not his bio daughter). Another half # would put this baby at nearly 10#. *SIGH* And I'm hoping to NOT have a C-section....LOL!!!

Rachel- Great little bump there! So cute!
