Do you think maybe doing a little "service" type thing for your baby will help you? Maybe you could bury it? Do you think doing something like that would help you with some closure?

I don't know why your body would hold onto it. But I do think our bodies sometimes know more than we do. Whatever the reason, it's ok. And I think you need to know that your feelings are ok, too. Take some time to process through them mama.

Thanks! I will try and see if I can, but not holding my breath. I can't even get good pictures of pregnancy tests with this thing.

I thought about some type of "service". I think I will ask dh what he feels like doing too. I told him about it and he said he definitely wants to see it, and that it's very sad.

No I did not. Basically what I was told was 1. If you are getting negative pregnancy tests (I was, even on the "early" brands) 2. You do not develop pain, weird smelling discharge etc. that everything is okay. Since the ultrasound the day before my miscarriage (literally woke up the next morning bleeding) saw nothing related to pregnancy, even in the fallopian tubes/ovaries that it wouldn't show anything after I miscarried either. Also, I already started a new cycle and ovulated so I assumed everything was good.
I can't help but wonder if the sweeping down on my current egg/follicular fluids etc. helped to push the little baby out.

I'm sorry. And thanks!

Oh Kim.

I would be more than happy to offer advice on the picture for you. I've done it before on here. I was also going to suggest you plant something for your LO.

When I had my miscarriage at 6weeks Babe came out with the bloddy discharge. I know that I saw her in there...I actually kept my pantyliner that I m/c in. Wrapped it up, took it home (I was in the middle of teaching). it stayed wrapped up for a month. Never told anyone about it. Then I planted it with the flower my mom bought me after I m/c. It now blooms beautiful daisies!

I too will take a look if you need another pair of eyes

After my m/c at twelve weeks, we planted daffodils. They come up every year (more each year) and I love seeing them and wondering what our baby would look like.

I love the idea of planting a flower or tree with the baby. I'm so sorry you have to go through this. If you want another pair of eyes, I'd be happy to help.
