Re: Fetus coming out after miscarriage?? *sensitive information*
I'm sorry, I have never gone through anything like that but did work in an OB office and had many patients who have. I like the idea of planting a tree or some flowers

Re: Fetus coming out after miscarriage?? *sensitive information*
I can be another set of eyes as well.I have no doubt that it was your baby. Sadly I lost one like that as well. Was supposed to be 6.5 weeks--but on u/s exam,Tech only saw a very thickened uterine linnig and the corpus luteum cyst of preg.on one of my ovaries.I passed a tiny placenta and curved shaped(one end was the bigger head area) embryo. It was clearly our baby.It was as big as a grain of rice, maybe bigger.PLacenta fit in palm of my hand.It made a distinctive "plop" sound into the tiolet as I passed it.Could also feel it "slide" out.Sorry TMI-iit just was shocking to feel this as I expected nothing more than a clotty discharge as u/s had shown no placenta/baby,etc.It was a greyish white color against the placenta.(wich was def.so,because it was small, circular with one side being smooth and the other "frilier".) Never distinguished a sack though. ![]() We buried this baby near the place in our garden where we also buried our angel baby Gracie's ashes. We have a lg garden angel statue to mark the site. I've also lost one at 8 weeks--this baby came perfectly formed inside it's sack.Passed this baby after many hard ctx.Just like labor. ![]() I'm so sorry mama. Pm me if you want another set of eyes/opinion.

Re: Fetus coming out after miscarriage?? *sensitive information*
I've known some mamas that have buried their early losses w/ a flowering plant or house plant.
We have pink peonies planted nearby our babies resting place.(In our garden).

Re: Fetus coming out after miscarriage?? *sensitive information*
**Update**
I called my previous midwife and told her about it. She said she'd never had a client experience that, and asked if I would send the photo. She called me back right away and said "That is a baby!!!!!!!!!" She said she'd never seen anything like it and couldn't believe that I had a fully formed (as far as we can tell) embryo from such an early loss-5 weeks. She said it is amazing, and there's no doubt in her mind that's what it is. Her thought was that I had the miscarriage but for some reason the baby itself was "stuck" or just sort of sitting down by the cervix (or somewhere). When I had all the CM from ovulation it helped baby out. I mean, there is no blood, no anything! It's like she was just sitting right there and popped out. I am still shocked and amazed. I told her how much we loved her and wanted her. In a way, it felt good to see her (after the initial shock wore off). To be able to see life at such an early stage is just..wow. I love all your ladies ideas about burying her with a plant, and I'll be sure to pick one that blooms yearly. What a beautiful gesture. I'm so sorry for all of you mamas who have lost little ones. No one understands more than a mother who's been there herself. So I know you all know how I feel.
