Pillow case style dress

Okay so I made my first attempt at making a pillow case dress. I didn't have a pattern so I just looked at some links some fellow DS mama's mentioned and guessed at the sizing, haha. It actually turned out to fit her perfectly which I was shocked! What do you think?

Love it! Here's another way you can sew it. Cut straight across the pillow case and make a casing, thread elastic through and then just make ribbon ties to attach. It's a little easier to make it that way.

I'm confused by this....sorry....so, you cut straight across the top of the pillow case...I got that. But you don't have to make arm holes?? The casing I assume is like turning it and sewing??
