Bio-Kleen Laundry detergent?

I love Bio-Kleen Bac Out, and had no idea that they made laundry detergent as well. Anyone have experience with it?

I loved the powder for a year and a half until it stopped dissolving in my machine, not sure what changed. The liquid either is too expensive or not available at the store near me, so I've never tried it.

I used the liquid detergent b/c I liked bac-out so much and my son broke out in an awful rash everywhere that the diaper touched his body.

I've heard that is pretty common from other mamas on here.

I LOVE the powder. I've been using it for 4 years on all my laundry. My oldest dd is allergic to just about every lotion, soap, sposie, detergent, ect., but she has never broken out from Biokleen. My DH also has extreme sensitivities and he never breaks out either.

I used the powder between my boxes of Country Save and Tide and had no problems at all. Worked great and has a faint grapefruity smell. DS doesn't have sensitive skin so we haven't had issues with any detergents.

Re: Bio-Kleen Laundry detergent?

I have used the premium powder, free and clear liquid, and I am currently trying the cold-water formula liquid. The powder worked best IMO. I use it on diapers with no problems, even though I was scared that the citrus oils might cause problems. In fact I just bought some RnG to try and am just now having amonia issues, but every detergent works different with people's machines and water conditions.

I am pretty sure plant based surfactants are preferable to petroleum surfactants for CD detergents.

Re: Bio-Kleen Laundry detergent?

I just used the liquid for the first time, it was a sample, and I used two scoops of the laundry booster hydrogen powder, and ecover softener. All for the first time.
I am sooooo pleased. I've only done one load, but the diapers are very very very clean, bright and soft.

I used charlies and rng, and the kids got chem burns. Then came stink. I started using Tiny Bubbles... I was happy with it, but it was hard to get diapers really clean. Then I broke down and got Tide, no stink, really clean, but I sometimes felt that the scent was covering stinkies up. Plus it would leave ds mildly red. Not rashy, so I was happy.

All day, the diapers haven't smelled Tidy, or stinky, or uriney! And his skin... Every area has been completely red-free.
Oh... I hope I have found detergent nirvana... I have one more sample left!
