Wow...that's a scary thought for sure!! I have all the "stuff" we need, but he will have no clothes lmao. It's completely ridiculous, but I'm ready for the labor part. I know that's totally insane, but that is constantly on my mind

I am so not ready. I feel so not ready. We have nothing. (well we have some stuff) but I am worried that there is something missing.

Im most stressed about BF it didnt work well at all both times before, it was such a high stress thing. I have to try stay relaxed, but thats what is causing me the most stress.

i'm ready but i'm not, KWIM? the 3 months between then and now are going to be my most stressful, ever, so i'd really like them to go by quickly. on the other hand, there's SO MUCH TO DO that i need that time. i've got money to save, the birthing kit to purchase, furniture to move around (we're moving DS's toddler bed from our room to his and swapping the crib, and we realized yesterday our rolling crib is too wide to roll through the door frame), more diapers to purchase, a name to choose, etc etc etc. ack!

I'm feeling stressed to have everything organized and decluttered (old kids stuff etc.) and I still have to sew diapers, and get all the 'gear' we need since we donated it all right before I found out I was preg. figures!

I'm mostly stressing because I have NO idea what I'll be doing w/ my kids. DH is deploying mid-May and baby is due May 28th (but I'm usually 2 weeka late and have to be induced) so I know he won't be here, and we have no family or friends around. It's so scary. I wish I could just know my kids will be ok. I'm not worried about delivering the baby by myself, I had to do that w/ DD, but we didn't have any kids then either.

At least he was here for one birth.. I just wish he could be here for this, it's going to be so hard on the kids w/ him leaving, and then mommy in the hospital w/ the new baby and then me coming home and not having enough time/attention for all of them. *sigh*

wow. sorry for that vent. I'm just a little worried about it, can you tell?

It will all be fine. DH missed the birth of dd, but should be here for this one. But we are in a similar boat with no good friends or family. We have some people who can watch dd, but not anyone she knows well. We will just make do and hope my mother gets here before the baby comes, but it's hard to plan and a last minute plane ticket to here is around $1000 because its just a regional airport, so that is out.

I saw the title, and almost panicked! Less than 100 days?!?! But then I looked it up, and I have 103 days left! I guess I don't have to panick for 4 more days!

I just counted and have 108 days;-)

But, have a lot to get done. NEED: sit & stand stroller, mini crib with mattress and order custom bedding for this crib. Basically have all of this stuff on my amazon wish list and a WAHM on etsy picked out for the bedding. DH needs to put the new dresser together so I can get it situated and organized into the kid's bedroom. Got a bassinet in the mail and need to find a place for it in our bedroom (DH is totally against this so need to do some convincing). Also, need to set up a place for a 2nd changing station as the "main" one will be in the combined boy's room which I don't want to use in the middle of the night while ODS is in there sleeping. Still need bottles....

Got enough clothes, diapers, new changing pad, bouncer already, breast pump already......


Hope you all get through all of the nasty weather the next few days. Yuck! Sounds like good Chili and Movie weather to me

I am so ready... closet is beyond full, drawers are full, we have everything we could need. I have been so tired, achy, and miserable. I have not enjoyed being pregnant this time around, DS was a little better.

I too have so much to do before baby comes. Being baby number one the closer it gets the more nervous I get, anyone else feel that way with their first? I have heard it is completely normal.
