For those of us that have 3 (or are having the 3rd) what kind of car?

Hi mamas,
We are thinking we probably need to get a new car before this LO comes. For those of us who have 3 or this is your 3rd, what kind of car do you have? We will have two in convertables and the baby in an infant seat. I just don't see how they are going to fit in our Highlander!

Thanks~!

I have a Tahoe, and love it!
DD will be moving back to the 3rd row and I'm thinking I'll keep DS in the 2nd row w/ the baby (we have captain's chairs). I did consider moving him back there too, so he won't throw things at the baby
Oh and they are both in Nautilus' and the baby will be in a convertible, either a graco my ride or britax boulevard.. still undecided.

We have a 2008 Uplander, ODD will be moved to the back in her nautilus while YDD (in a nautilus) will stay in one of the captains chairs. The baby will be in the other captains chair in the maxi cosi priori. I don't know how I would manage with a carrier and two LO's? I am a bit hesitant about ODD being all the way in the back since she is only going to be 3 1/2.

We have an '06 Grand Caravan. Currently my older two sit in the back in Nauti's. They can buckle themselves in and my oldest can unbuckle herself and her brother. Ellie is rearfacing in a Marathon and will remain so. New babe will be in a Maxi Cosi Mico.

Re: For those of us that have 3 (or are having the 3rd) what kind of car?

Check out the Sunshine Kids Radian 80 (or other similar models by Sunshine Kids) - they are convertable seats that are slim enough to fit 3 across the backseat of a car. We fit all 3 of our toddlers in a Ford Contour, Nissan Altima, Pontiac Grand Am, and a Subaru Legacy. We used 2 average sized seats and the Radian in the middle. The seat is really nice too - allows the kids to be in a 5-point harness FF until 80 lbs, and its a high back, so while I dont know the height limit, there is lots of room for growth. It retails for $250, but if you have a Buy Buy Baby near you, they accept the 20% off Bed Bath and Beyond coupons, so you can pick one up for $200. We will eventually have one for each kiddo.
