I start at 37 usually, but my last baby I started at 36.

I take 2000mg by mouth and 2000mg vaginally.

I made the mistake of starting at 34 weeks with Natalie and that is when she came not sure that had anything to do with it though.

My midwife told me to start at 36. I think it was 500mg orally 4 times a day. I had him two days later!! Next time I think I'll wait till 38 weeks..

its funny on the web alot of sights say to start at 34 weeks,500 2aday, then at 37 weeks 4 a day 2 oral 2 vaginal

I started at 37 weeks - DD was still 8 days "late"...

I started at 37 weeks and DS2 was on his due date. I took two tablets by mouth and two vaginally. My cervix was very soft from 38 weeks until he was born (according to the dr's). I think it helped me delivery such a big boy without major damage.

I started 36 weeks and took it only vaginally-1000-2000mg. DS was 7 days late

-maybe I will take it orally too next time!
