Re: Any transverse/breech babies out there??
Oh yeah no reason to worry yet!! All my kiddos were breech and transverse, until way after 30 weeks. My last did keep going from head down to transverse all the way up to 40 weeks.
I was 40 weeks 1 day in early labor and she was head down, so my midwife broke my water and she was born 4 hours later!

Re: Any transverse/breech babies out there??
consider visiting a chiropractor, and take a look at spinningbabies.com to get info on how to best position yourself to get the baby to be head down. it's still early to worry, but now is the perfect time to work on getting your baby to wiggle and move to a better spot.
i'm pretty sure mine does somersaults in my belly, so on any given day i'll feel kicks EVERYWHERE. lol.

Re: Any transverse/breech babies out there??
All of my kids have been head down since the beginning of time til birth. James, however, is being quite naughty
![]() he was only head down at his 15w ultrasound i have had about 5 ultrasounds since then, and he's always transverse or head diagonal. I'm concerned, but not freaking out yet!

Re: Any transverse/breech babies out there??
And it's funny because I was seeing a chiropractor with my last pregnancy because I was extremely uncomfortable. i still am with this one, but I no longer have benefits so the $35/visit will now cost me out of pocket.. so I'm waiting until I feel I really need it.
I never knew it helped with baby position. Both my other 2 were head down from 18 weeks on, this one not so much. And yes, my midwife did say 32 weeks and we will start talking about it more.

Re: Any transverse/breech babies out there??
All three of my girls were head down whenever I had an u/s as far as I can remember. This one though, I believe, has been transverse whenever they've look with an u/s.

Re: Any transverse/breech babies out there??
You know, swimming can help also if you are worried about it. It takes the gravity pressure off the baby and allows them to turn easier.

Re: Any transverse/breech babies out there??
Mine was transverse at 20 weeks and in the same exact position again at 24 weeks. I go back in a week and a half and I'm hoping she'll be in a different position then! I can feel her moving all the time, so maybe she just likes that position in the late afternoons?? =) I hope yours turns for you!!!

Re: Any transverse/breech babies out there??
My boy is breech still too. But DR has told me he has lots of time to move still.

Re: Any transverse/breech babies out there??
This baby is transverse right now at 28 weeks. You probably don't need to worry yet. My twin B who was definitely very cramped still changed positions at 35 weeks!
