My First Pettiskirt.

OK first I'll Admit that I have boys so no one in this house is going to wear this. It will go to the craft shows with me until it is sold (unless I get offeres here)

But this is my first attempt at a pettiskirt and I am SUPER proud. It came out perfect.

I have ordered a ruffler foot for my sewing machine so the next one should go much faster.

I gues the main mistake I made was that I was aiming for infant sized and this could fit a 5 year old. But that's OK like I said I have boys so I will sell it.

When you made yours did you try to work from the bottom up or top down?

adorable. thats funny bc my first one turned out smaller than i thought i actually like making them now, but the first year i sewed EIGHT for christmas then wouldnt make any more for a year

The Nylon Chiffon is fun to work with I am thinking about making myself a just below the knee length skirt (minus the Fluff) for my cousins wedding.

i made my girls' with buttonhole elastic so i can wear them toowe play dress up

i think joann's may carry it but i buy it by the bolt/roll online
