Re: baby names, whadya think?

I like voted Grace Olivia and Jacob Ryan but those are all really common if that's something you're worried about.

I really like Grace Olivia... gorgeous!

Jacob Ryan is very classic. I do prefer names after family/loved ones, if any are after them, I would have chosen them.

Gabrielle Olivia

Gabrielle Elizabeth
Gabrielle isn't uber popular, at least not around here... I think Bri or Elle would be really cute for a nickname too. Personally, I'm not too fond of "Gabby" but that's probably because of a rather annoying Gabby that I went to school with.

Re: baby names, whadya think?

If you like unusual names neither Grace or Jacob is going to cut it- Jacob has been number one for like 5 years in a row! I'll see if I can find the linky for popular names by year...
I do like Gabrielle- I considered it myself but just keep having boys! It means strength of God or God is my strength. Very nice!
Any other boys names you were considering?

Okay I found it- Aiden finally beat Jacob out last year- I think you can look at previous years names as well to check for trends- I used this quite a lot and if I saw a name was climbing the chart (getting nearer the top each year)- I didn't use it.

We've talked about Grace Elizabeth if we have another girl. So I picked that one but I also really like Grace Olivia too. I also picked Jacob Ryan!

Yeah, I know Jacob is still pretty popular, but DH is dead set on wanting it. That's been HIS name choice for the past three babes....but we changed it, lol. If it were MY choice, I'd go with either Galen, Gavin or Gabriel (all G's, haha!)

Re: baby names, whadya think?

I'd also love to give a girl one of my middle names (Jael), but DH won't allow a second middle name, he thinks it's weird. This coming from a man who's mom named all of her boys the same middle name after her husband (James), and who named HIS first two son's the same middle name (James). I said OH NO WE WON'T on that one, seems weird to me to give the same middle name to all the boys.

Re: baby names, whadya think?

Well, I like them all!! We are naming this one Grace if it's a girl, and not sure if we have a boy! We already have 2 boys, one with a very popular name....Michael.....and one not so popular....Isaiah. It does seem like more people are starting to stay away from the really popular names though. There are 2 kindergarten classes in Michael's school, and I think there's 20 in each class (or 19 in one) and he is the only Michael! I really expected that there would be more, and when he was born I actually thought about not naming him Michael, but he's named after his godfather and that's what DH wanted so I went with it! The social security adm. hasn't put out the most popular names for 06 yet, but here's a link for their list for 05
