Re: What are your diaper bags like?

I have different bags for different needs (some of us aren't just addicted to CDs, and I am unfortunately addicted to everything ). I use a Fleurville mothership if I am going all days somewhere where the bag will NOT get dirty LOL. I use a Ju Ju Be Be All if I am going to like the zoo or something all day/half day when my bag might touch the ground. I also have two Fleurville sling totes that I change out for quick trips. I have other bags that fit all of these things, but these are the ones that I actually ended up using daily.

All day:
Two outfits for DD2 and one for DD1
Sippy cup
2 bottles of water & snacks (goldfish, crackers, etc)
6-10 AIOs
pack is disposable wipes (yea yea )
14x14 wetbag (goes in the stroller basket once it starts filling up)
all my junkola
camera
blanket to cover up my "Dog's Wife sized boobs" if I have to NIP

Quick trip
Bummis wetbag
4-6 AIOs
pack of wipes
extra outfits for both DDs
sippy cup
all my crapola

Re: What are your diaper bags like?

This is my bag.

Stuffed it can hold one dozen prefolds, three longies/shortie, two shirts, socks snappi, diaper cream, tippy cup...I've fit even more into it but this is our usual going to grandma's for the weekend packing. When it's empty I can fold it up and stick it in my glove box. It's great for long trips and if it get's dirty I just throw it in the washer. It's a little too big for just to the mall so I have a smaller messenger bag style type one that I made too. It's perfect for a couple diapers, a wetbag and tippy.

Re: What are your diaper bags like?

For everyday we have the Land's End Little tripper. It comfortably fits up to 3 FBs, wipes, ointment (Northern Essence 1 oz push up tube fits perfectly in one of the mesh pockets), snacks, and a sippy cup. It comes with a wetbag and changing pad. The front pocket has lots of little pockets to hold lip balm and the such. It did seem a tad tiny during the newborn phase when we were carrying an extra outfit everywhere we went, but now it is perfect. It has been in constant use for 20 months and still looks brand new. Land's End also has excellent customer service and their bags are very reasonably priced. For longer trips we have the Land's End Do-It-All Diaper bag. I would not want to carry this around everyday but it does hold lots.

I too have an Aimee. I got it off FSOT and it is super cute and plenty big.

Re: What are your diaper bags like?

I want to get a bigger bag than even my daycare bag, which I thought was huge, but it just doesn't fit as much as I'd thought.

Re: What are your diaper bags like?

For church or quick trips, I've got an I'm Still Me bag (http://www.imstillme.com). It's one of their older style totes.

For longer trips (all day out, etc.), I use a Vera Bradley "Vera" tote; it's also what I used to use with DS2 (and will use again) for taking our dipes when we go for a weekend.

Re: What are your diaper bags like?

My favorite is a backpack style. I also have an Amy Butler Nappy Bag, but I really dislike it. The top is open and the pockets inside are all symmetrical so even if I put something in the "wide pocket in the middle", it could be on either side. It's hard to dig in as well. Also the inside pockets encroach on the space in the middle as well and stuff get stuck underneath them when they are full. It doesn't hold nearly as much stuff as my backpack and when I can get more stuff in there, it's at risk of falling out because it doesn't close.

Re: What are your diaper bags like?

ya'll are gonna laugh at me...I use my old Jansport college backpack. (hey, it held a TON of freaking heavy books...I figure it can handle the crap from 3 kids) I have three kids, 2 in CD's and one in panties (but not 100% trained...more like 97%) so I have 2 CD's each for the younger 2, 2 extra pair of panties for my oldest, a change of clothes for each kid, a bottle of water (for my oldest) a sippy for the middle dd, and a bottle and formula container for the baby. I also have my nursing cover in there (she has been picky lately about bottle vs NIP) breastpads, a snack for both older girls, wet wipes, my wallet, my cell phone, keys, hand sanitizer, teething drops, tylenol, mylicon drops, 2 drool bibs, 2 burp rags,2 extra ziploc bags (waiting on my wetbag to arrive) and an extra pad & tampon when I am on AF....I think that's it...lol

1 cotton thermal receiving blanket
4-6 bG 1.0 OS
1 pair of pants
1 onesie shirt (LS)
12 fruit roll up things
8 cloth wipes (bamboo)
1 Playtex nurser bottle (sometimes, he doesn't want boobie)
4 bottle liners
2 extra nipples
Medela Deluxe Electric pump motor (it's pretty small)
Medela pump horn that separates into two pieces
2 3 oz Medela storage bottles
Medela pump/accessory wipes
changing pad
Purell bottle
fleece hat
socks
paci (not that he'll take one...)
two doses of his Prevacid
syringe for his meds
a bottle of water
my wallet
my cell phone
2 small toys
Infant Tylenol
Mylicon
extra burp rag (Gerber pf)

which style of e.b. do you have? I am interested in getting one of those. How long have you been using it?

I have this one:

I've been using it since DS was about 3 weeks old.
