Welcome and I feel your pain regarding all there is to know about CD'ing. I posted a week or so ago that I was afraid to prep my diapers. I read some posts and realized that I just have to jump in and do it, so I did. It sounds like you have a great support person who knows what theya re doing and this board is awesome.

Definitely check out the FSOT board. It's good to buy used to see what you like.

I an also a brand newbie to this CDing thing!! So far I LOVE the no more diaper rash and I also LoVE how cute they are!! I am using Fuzzi Bunz and really like the pocket thing!! I just got some washable/flushable liners so I can just toss the poop!! Just got those in today and I am looking forward to trying this!!!

I'm just going to this post b/c she said a ton of what I was going to say. I am also a prefolds-only user, and at home, I will almost always just leave the cover off entirely. I have one set of prefolds that I'd used for DD as well and now am using on my DS. They are starting to look a little ratty but I didn't have a ton (only a couple dozen or so), so I did have to wash more often than others might. But even with the slight fraying, they are still totally functional.
