Chiming in ladies. Thanks Erica. I did design the converters to help with the fears of leaving them. We do leave ours on 24/7 but I can't recommend for others to do so (legally). They are designed to fail if ever caught though. But I do think the converters are the best option for the screw clasps to use for night time on the ankles.

Re: Teething Necklace at Nighttime?

Our girly has worn her Baltic Creations 24/7 since she was 10 mo. old. Our 4, 6, 8, 10 yr. old and Dh wear them 24/7 also. I feel ok with it since they are designed to break and Dh and the older kids say they're so comfortable they don't even notice they're on.

Re: Teething Necklace at Nighttime?

My son was not as young as your dd but once we got his it never came off. I'm thinking he was close to a year old though. My older son (showing how much he loves his brother) pulled the necklace and it broke instantly, not beads flying every where broke but the string part pulled out. I tried and tried to fix it and couldn't but since I bought it from Inspired by Fin when I emailed her she sent a 40% off coupon code to replace it. After that I had no fear, it really broke easily. When I ordered the replacement I got one for my oldest too so he wouldn't be so jealous and try to rip this one off too.

Also, I have slept in an amber necklace. I was having a lot of problems with my wisdom teeth and I wore a necklace 24/7 for months, even after having the teeth out. I just like how it looks and it is so light you really can't feel that it is on.

Of course, I am NOT telling you to leave a necklace on your baby, you have to do what is right for your family. With this baby I will probably start leaving it on around 9 or 10 months. HTH

Re: Teething Necklace at Nighttime?

My 2 y/o has worn his necklace ever since he was 3 months old. I took it off a few times in the summer to put sunscreen on him But it's never been off for any length of time. It's just now starting to get snug on him so I bought a new one.
My 1 y/o has worn his since birth and it's never been off. I've never had any scare.. They have never been "long" so I've never thought twice about leaving them on over night.
