Have you ever sold something and later on REALLY regretted it?

I sold a like new Mad 4 Plaid GM back in July 2009. It was my baby's first NIP GM and I sold it at a time when we were in a really rough patch. Now, I desperately want to get my daughter's GM back. I PM'ed the buyer, but she hasn't been on DS for a while. WAHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!

Moral of the story is: Don't let go of a beloved item for a measly $12ppd. You might end up regretting it someday.

If anyone wants to join my pity party, feel free to share your stories of items that you wish you still had.

yup. and ours was a goodmama too. it had planes on it and was so adorable. i miss it for the sentimental value. it was just so boyish. i wouldn't try and track it down but if i saw it on FSOT for a reasonable price i'd definitely snatch it up.

So glad you let the cat out of the bag on this one!! I sold my dd's first nb dipe, a super cute Mutt called Spring Garden (I think) and I've been so sad ever since She was so darn cute in it. I even thought about keeping it a few times but convinced myself I needed to sell it to fund her next size pockets. Goodbye memories, for one stupid dipe..sigh.

Oh, how I wish I could get it back

I have sold lots that I later regretted. Mostly my GMs because they are super popular again & I sold them waaaaay too cheaply. But the first GM I ever bought was carmel apple. I may need to track one down again or the teeny blue Knickernappie that was the first cd he ever wore. We are PT now so no more cute squishiness.

I traded my yellow edge GMDs and regret it now.... if/when I get pregnant again, I'm just going to have to buy or trade for them again. I've been slowly selling off my snap converted BG 3.0s, I hope I wont regret that....

I deeply regret selling these:

I don't currently have anyone to wear them, but I still wish I could get them back. I sold them on Spots so I don't even have a username to try to track them down with.

The only thing I regret selling is our OBB pockets. I sold them at the time because I was trying to go to a cheaper stash and figured I could always buy more in the future. They were SO trim and easy to use and we could get away with smalls and M/L for birth-PLing. Now she's out of business and they would honestly be the perfect addition to our stash

Re: Have you ever sold something and later on REALLY regretted it?

Mine was nothing that would gain value or even hold a special place or memory, but they were the only diaper that DH had ever said "gosh, I wish we had those back"
I sold our entire stash (one of every color/print) of GroBaby AI2s for $100 and I have never regretted a sale so much. DH is much more inclined to help when he has his favorite diapers to use. But now we are at a very low point in funds and I can not replace them. Guess he will just have to be happy with the only other velcro diapers we have - BG AIOs.
