Gap maternity... help me choose a size!

I'm a 5 in juniors jeans, but usually too small for a woman's size 2. I'm 5'2, 108 lbs right now (full term I reach 130) and really always look "all baby". I have never found maternity bottoms that fit me... they're all either size small or 2 and too big, so for 4 babies I've made do with zipper tricks and belly band. My hips are 35" right now.

I'm actually not pregnant right now but I've been eyeing this skirt to wear next time or even now with long shirts, and they're having a 25% off sale.

So..... if you're around my size, or familiar with Gap's maternity sizing, should I go with 0 or 1? (which both sound too tiny to be my size....)

Re: Gap maternity... help me choose a size!

Hi. Well I am right about your size to a tee and Gaps size 1 is big on me. I think I would go with the zero if you want it to fit right away. I am a 00 p in Ann Taylor Loft, Gap size 0. I always wear sizes xs in maternity for a while then move into smalls and sometimes mediums at the bitter end after gaining between 22-almost 30 pounds. all in the tummy. If you want more wear for longer I would say get the 1 and just know it's not going to fit perfect until closer to 20 weeks. If you wanna wear it before and while preggo get the 0. Hope that helps! Super cute skirt too!

Yep - I agree with the 0. My sister is about the same weight 105-110 and 5 ' 5". She wore a 0 in GAP and by the end of her pregnancies she was able to fit into slightly bigger.

She LOVED the Pea in a Pod jeans. She had one pair that was terribly expensive, but she loved them because they fit.

I always go a size down during pregnancy. I'm generally a 2 and usually go with a 0. I tend to be all baby and my hips don't get wide which it seems most maternity lines of clothes assume they will so I have to go down.
