Making stuffs for the wee ones

I know many of us sew, knit, crochet... and there have been a few threads showing what all we have made for the babies.

I just wanted to do a shout out to see how everyone is doing on everything.

I MUST sew some rompers and such, I just havent been in one place with my machines and fabric long enough to do it. So Ive been knitting. A soaker in a 18mo size, then widdle wongies in sock yarn that took for-e-e-e-ever but are cute, and now Im doing overalls. I totally got the BUG this morning reading the "dye your own yarn using Wiltons" thread that got bumped this morning, and Im totally thinking of doing sets of woolies with yarn dyed to match fabrics I should turn into shirts and babylegs. Sigh.

So, we have seasoned experts here who sew diapers and clothing that are tdf, newbies learning to crochet (watermelon?), what else is everyone doing?

And of course...

No pictures yet, need to get on that. But I'm sewing up diapers and covers. 6 diapers to go but everything else is done. I also need to sew his first 'outfit', a matching blanket and hat. Then I'm trying to decide what I want to dye, diaper and clothing wise.

Re: Making stuffs for the wee ones

I've only knit 3 things for the baby so far. I'm waiting on a new set of interchangeable needles and then I plan on making a couple more skirties and some skirted overalls.

I'd love to see what everyone else has made too! Tiny baby craftiness is the best, super quick gratification and oh so adorable on the LO

Re: Making stuffs for the wee ones

I've got about 36ish two layer flannel wipes sewn (I'll have to take a picture later... they're in the background of my 23 week bump picture).

I've been working on these longies for the February KAL. I'm about an inch down on the second leg and hopefully I'll have them done soon!

I have these fleece soakers done too and fabric to make 4 more, I've just been slacking.

It's awesome to see what everyone else is doing! Your knitting really is amazing, Lauren. What interchangeable set did you get?

Re: Making stuffs for the wee ones

I wanna learn to knit.

I have made wipes, and i attempted a diaper.

I made a baby blanket.

I am going to sew the bedding. But need to find fabric first.

I will take pictures and upload them of the stuff i have made so far.
