I'd love to see what everyone else has made too! Tiny baby craftiness is the best, super quick gratification and oh so adorable on the LO
Beautiful! I just learned to knit and was hoping to perfect my skill in order to make this little on some cute knitted things. I've just been so busy with the kids, my shop, the house, and just life in general that it has just not happened...

Oh, and I have not yet made one thing for this baby. Not ONE! I'll probably close up my shop the last couple of months and than work like a mad woman trying to get everything done in time...

My sewing consists of early mornings, and late nights on the weekends. Oh and a wonderful DH who helps with house work, and the munchkins!

Probably the same way that I do...I have 3 kids and the oldest is 10 and austic so I spend over 3 hours a night doing homework with him...

You just sneak in a few minutes whenever you can....and some early mornings or late nights.

Re: Making stuffs for the wee ones

WOW this stuff is AMAZING ladies!!

I NEED to sew, and hopefully will get some layette done this weekend when Im at my house supposedly packing my sewing stuff and machines... ahem....

This is what Ive knitted in the last couple of weeks.

newborn longies out of wool sockyarn from Joann:

skirtie with soaker, prob size 3monthish from simple wool that I dyed with koolaid a couple of years ago and wanted to finally use it. Ill probably make a hat or cardidan from what I have left...

And a super simple soaker out of commercial sock yarn double stranded with fingering that I crockpot dyed bright yellow. Its probably a size 12month or so...

Im currently knitting overalls in a bulky yarn that literally are taking me no time at all and should be done by the time Oprah is over at 5 They are probably about a 18month, but will be perfect for the winter cuz my babies tend to be Fatty McFatterton amazon giants for the first year LOL
