I can't believe...
I have made it 11 months and am still going strong. My goal was a year of nursing my DD2 and I am almost there!!!!
Now I am extending my original goal to a year and a half (would like to keep going but don't want to be too disappointed if I don't make it to 2). My DD has severe allergies to dairy and slightly to soy so I don't know what she would be able to drink that would be as good as my milk so I guess I will keep going! Even if that means another 7 months or more of no pizza for me ![]() I just had to share with people who know what an accomplishment this is, especially being on an elimination diet for the last 5 months. Thanks for letting me share! I can't figure out how to get those nursing ribbons in my signature.

Re: I can't believe...
Awesome!! My third has bad food allergies, and I nursed him the longest. My youngest is only 3 months, and I am thinking I will nurse her the longest of them all. We don't know yet if she has allergies.

Congrats, and kudos to you for making an elimination diet work. I tried and failed, fortunately cow's milk just makes my daughter gassy!

Re: I can't believe...
Congrats! I know its not easy. I did no milk, no milk protiens, no milk derivitives, etc..(I am not sure if that would be the elimination diet) but I got through 2mths of that. I found it easier the longer I did it. Hope its the same for you. Can you have pizza with vegan cheese? (A little goes a long way) Again Congrats!

Re: I can't believe...
Yay! Congrats! My DS has major milk sensitivities as well as gluten. So I did my version of the elimination diet and he seems to be doing great! We are at 7 months and are short term goaling for one year and long term 2!
