Hello

My name is Brenda. I have an 19month old and we are trying for another. I'm still trying to get my husband on board for CDing. I know several people that do and they enjoy it. He is not willing to fork out 300+ for new though one of the brand I would like to try has not been out long from what I can tell doing my resurch. My husband is also worried it doesnt really save you money either since you have to wash them so offten. Would like to know how much you think you save. I'm wanting the one size diapers.

Re: Hello

Welcome Brenda! Your question will get more helpful responses if you post it in the Diaper Chatter Q&A forum.

Its sometimes hard to get a husband on board with cloth diapering, since its something most men have a lot of preconceived notions about but no actual experience.

I haven't had a child in diapers in a while, but there are a lot of newer brands of one size pockets that are truly budget friendly out there, and if you ask in the Q&A forum the mamas that have used them will love to give you their opinions of them, I'm sure.

You can save so much by buying used on the FSOT section here - you can pay 30-50% of retail on really nice diapers that will last you.

Welcome to Diaperswappers, and good luck with your husband!

Re: Hello

Welcome. Good luck convincing your husband! When I first mentioned it, my boyfriend wanted no part of it. I explained the savings, and he was right on board.
