Re: Bleached or Unbleached?

I like bleached. They last longer than the unbleached (well, mine have) and after awhile, they are just as soft as UB anyway. Plus I like the white, it looks clean to me

Re: Bleached or Unbleached?

I wanted to try Unbleached, but my dh thought that the bleached looked cleaner so that's what we have and we love them. Can't say which is better because I haven't ever tried unbleached - but they seem a lot more naturla to me, I think I would like to try them.

Re: Bleached or Unbleached?

I like them both, but unbleached better. After a million washes, they're equally soft

Unbleached for durability and absorbency.

Re: Bleached or Unbleached?

Did you know that they are not really bleached. They use Hydrogen peroxide or a derivitive of to make them white. Therefore the fabric is not weaker.
IMO i like the bleached I find they hardly pill at all. And I just like the way they look. And they are soft after about 10 washes. But I have never used the unbleached.

Re: Bleached or Unbleached?

I always get unbleached since they tend to hide stains better and I dont have to sun dipes as much with them....if I dont get unbleached then I tend to go for the tie dyed LOL

Re: Bleached or Unbleached?

Well, I've never tried the bleached. I have unbleached Chinese and Indian PFds. I love them. The Indian are sooooo soft and absorbant. I like the chinese too. They've become my fav dipes.

The unbleached b/c natural, and I like the off white color. Most of my other dipes are fitted hemp if that gives you a clue as to my preference.

You could try a little of both before you make up your mind.
