Soo.. title says it all. I'm not dilated but my cervix is thin. I have an ultrasound a week from today and they'll measure it again then. I am on medicine right now to stop my contractions and if it doesn't work they'll probably start giving me injections for her lungs. I have to drop half of my classes to try to keep myself stress free.

I was really hoping to get in a bunch of school before the baby was here but it doesn't look like that is happening.

Hope the meds work to halt your contractions! Keep that baby in for a while!

It really does stink. I was diagnosed at 20wks with Incompetent cervix and was put on strict bed rest with YDD. I had to have shots weekly and did the steroids at 24weeks. It is really hard to be limited with an LO. ODD was 9 months when I was on BR so that was awful having to watch others do everything for her and me.

Mama just keep strong it is all you can do.

Hopefully you can keep that LO cooking a little while longer. Are you on complete bedrest now until further notice??

Well.. I kind of told my doctor that bedrest is kind of stupid for me right now.. lol! With my husbands injury and having a 2 year old it's not possible for me no to do ANYTHING. My MIL helps a lot.. but still, I have to do some things. He just told me to take it easy and lay down when I can. I get contractions now whether I'm laying down or not, so I don't see the point of bedrest.

Well take it easy for sure!! Let your MIL do as much as possible...LOL! You don't want the weight of baby bearing down on your cervix even more. Hang in there, sweetie!
