This happened a while ago but it's really bugging me

So, months ago, I sold 2 dappi diapers on ebay. They were in perfect condition. I listed the weight and measurements exactly as the manufacturer states. So, the girl who bought them gets them, and then messages me saying they dont fit her daughter and can she return them. I specifically say no returns on diapers (unless of course it was my fault), because of this exact reason! It is not MY fault that YOU didn't check the measurements or what not to see if they would fit your daughter before you bought them. I have bought diapers before that didn't fit, or didn't fit right, but was not the sellers error in any way, so I just resold them. Besides I sold them very very cheap, and I would totally end up LOSING money if I tried to re-sell them again with ebay and paypal fees. So I suggested she try to re-sell them. Well anyway, she left me neutral feedback, saying the diapers were perfect, and exactly as described, but they didn't fit her daughter. I am really irritated by this, because I did everything right IMO. I described them correctly, she even said they were perfect herself. i shipped immediately, etc etc. So this neutral feedback on ebay is really bugging me. I mean obviously, if someone sees it, they will read that it was because they didn't fit her daughter, but still.

So just wanted to vent, and if I did do something wrong, please let me know. I just started selling on ebay again and that's why this is bugging me lol

Nope, you did nothing wrong. Sorry she gave you a neutral but after readig what she said, I would still buy. This was a long time ago, but doesn't ebay give you the ability to comment onthe feedback?

I just looked to see but it wont let me. it says detailed information is not available because it's over 90 days old. My feedback percent is still 100, so I guess neutral doesn't affect that, but still I am bugged! lol

I would have fought it, to be honest. Leaving you neutral was totally unfair as the fault was hers and hers alone. I would definitely comment on the feedback to clarify the situation for future buyers.

This is totally the kind of thing that would bug me too! Maybe if you contacted ebay and explained how the neutral feedback was unfair they would remove it? Even if it stays on there, anyone reading it should understand it wasn't your fault that the diapers didn't fit.

Contact Ebay. I'd say they will remover or edit her rating based on what she herself wrote.

Does anyone know how you "fight" the feedback? Thanks

I can't believe she left neutral b/c the items didn't fit her kid!! That's crazy. I hope you can dispute it.

I'm being a dunce and can't figure out how to dispute it. I found the place where I can leave a comment back, but it's such a short space. How do I say "it's not my fault they didn't fit your kid!" in a nice way? haha
