Diaper Swappers

A mama and I traded diapers (not here). Same brand, same size, just different styles. Mine was practically new, from my failed attempt at CDing my DS. We both were happy with the trade. She PMd me saying that she washed it and that the PUL separated. What should happen now? I do have the receipt but I bought it a long time ago and never used it. Opinions? Thoughts? Advice?

If you have the receipt maybe you can contact the manufacturer. When you say a long time ago, how long? Less than a year or under a year?

I bought it 8/08 according to the receipt. The other mama is being super nice and is going to contact the manufacturer because she thought she remembered hearing about a bad batch. I just didn't know of I should offer her $$ or what. She hasn't asked and I don't know what the protocol is.

I would tell her something along the lines of, if the manufacturer does not take care of it, we will work something out...that way it leaves it kind of open
