Any way to coax my toddler to start nursing again?

I quit nursing my toddler when she was around 11 months old. She is now 18 months old and I am nursing my newborn and will occasionally pump milk for my toddler. Is there any way to coax her to actually nurse again? I would like to give her the immunities from my milk.

Chances are she has forgotten how to latch. You can always give it a shot though. Has she shown interest? You may need to just let her know that she can nurse like the baby is if she wants to and see what she does.

My DD (who's been weaned since she was 23 months and is now 2.5 years) will occasionally ask to nurse. She just sort of attempts to latch on and sits there for a few seconds before declaring that Annabelle drank all the milk. Truth is she just can't remember what to do to get it to come out.

Pumping and giving her some to drink though would work great if you're up for it.
