is there such a thing as a...

shower carrier? i love our family showers, and with my twins on the way, i don't see how we can keep our routine unless dh and/or i can wear one or both of them in the shower. is there anything that might work for us? I'd like to keep things as normal as possible after the boys get here so as not to totally rock dd's little world!

YES! You can get a mesh or Solarveil pouch or ring sling! A RS might be better just because you can easily share it between you and your DH and it would definitely be better in that you can do an upright positioning from day 1 with the kiddos. Ours was a LIFESAVER!!! (Another side benefit--at age 2, DD has no problem showering by herself now!)

I'm just a "light user" of my mesh ring sling but I bought a Taylor Made Ring Sling for use while swimming and I really like it!

Plus Amber is on DS and sometimes has a coupon code for DS members.

or you can often find some on FSOT--either Solarveil (which has the added benefit of containing added UV protection, but can be a tad on the scratchy side for newborns) or mesh (which is soft but doesn't dry as quickly or have built in sun protection).

Another one I always forget--Gypsymama makes a water wrap, so like a Moby but designed for the water. You could probably also get five or six yards of lycra at the fabric store and make your own if you don't mind sewing.

Yeah i was just thinking of that. I can sew, so now that I know what type of fabric I'm looking for, I could just make my own wrap! I like the wrap better because it's easier to wear both of the boys if I have to, and easier to take them out of- IMO.
