Zorb vs. Zorb 2?

I got a package today containing my Zorb and Zorb 2. I'm so excited to wash it and start sewing. Has anyone use one or the other, or even both? Pros and cons?

I was watching Wazoodle for about a week, waiting for them to come back in stock and then bought some. It's amazing how fast they go out of stock for the Zorb 2.

Re: Zorb vs. Zorb 2?

I just received a sample of zorb II!! It's a lot softer and more flexible than I expected. If it's as absorbent as they claim, I think I'm really going to like it! Now I just have to figure out what I'm going to do with it

Just FYI, I don't think Zorb requires prepping. At any rate, I don't prewash it when I use it in things and have never had a problem with it.

Zorb 2 is the same as zorb 1 but it is pre-sandwiched for you already. I prefer regular zorb since I sandwich it myself.

Is it really? I though Zorb 2 was supposed to be 'better'

well, I guess it's better if you are using it for inserts and just want to serge the edges without buying more fabric to sandwich it with but otherwise nope. I called them when they came out with it to ask the difference and that is all, it's just pre-sandwiched.

Re: Zorb vs. Zorb 2?

Don't prewash the original Zorb!

I like the Zorb II a lot, but get better absorbency and fewer compression leaks by sandwiching original in OBF.

IMHO ZorbII is perfect for fitteds and such, but Original Zorb and OBF is better for AIOs and AI2s. But then, one of my favorite diapers right now is a trifolding OS ZorbII insert in a PUL cover (the 3rd layer makes up for the compression leaking if I only use 2).
