Oh no! A new addiction....

I was perfectly happy with my AIO's until I came across some super cheap shorties on Etsy from Clearance Woolies. It was an "Eh, they're only $12, why not try?" moment I had. They arrived yesterday fully lanolized and ready to go. Ryder (18 months, bigger twin) has an obsession with anything knit or crochet so he noticed then and his eyes just lit up, he grabbed a pair up and ran with them yelling "Mine". So I captured my wild one and put them on when he just burst out laughing and squealing. That feeling was mutual! I have never seen something so cute on these boys in my life! DH came home from work and goes "Goes, Uh Oh, we REALLY need more of those and diapers to match!" And he thought they were tacky when I was looking at them! So I now have permission to buy more wool. Trouble trouble. I would have been in trouble on my own, but with him on board oh boy...

On another note, how often do you wash your wool???

Welcome to the dark side.. Haha

Well, you wash them when they are soiled or about once a month/ every 3 weeks, whichever comes first. You will need to re-lanolize them when you notice they begin to lose their holding properties.

I wash and lanolize once a month unless they get something gross on them. *lol*

My DH did the same thing though. When I first showed him wool he was like ehh... and now he loves them. He even picks out the colorways when I get MYMN spots.

Uh oh, it all down hill from here!!

If poo gets on my wool (VERY rare) I scrub it with an Alioop wool wash bar then continue my regular wash routine. My reg wash routine is: I wash my wool once a month by soaking it all in my sink with Alioop wash cubes (1 cube per pair of wolies). Roll it in a towel and spin out the water in my washing machine's spin cycle. Then I dry in the dryer by laying it on the shoe rack accessory, or laying over a heat vent register.

I'm just now venturing into the world of fitted diapers with fleece covers... DH has already veto'd wool, thankfully. It can get addictive!
