Re: Best night time option for 1 month old

For my 2 month old I am using a BG 4.0 with a RAR newborn insert and a small babykicks hemp insert. Worked last night for 12 hours, no leaks!!! And it is pretty trim.

Fitteds!! Under wool, or I have hand-me-down fleece sleep sacks - they work great and I love that it's breathable for that longer stretch. At 1 month, Muttaqin Babies were my preferred. Now that DS is almost 3 months, he's outgrowing his NB Mutts , though they'd probably still work, also the Primm & Propers and Bububebes I have, but I prefer SBish bamboo fleece. With the petal soaker and the additional soaker it comes with, that thing lasts as long as he could possibly sleep.

When my lo was that age I was using BGE's, with no doublers or anything. I found that they were trim enough and they never leaked. Now I have to add a doubler, I use an AMP hemp doubler. If I had had them then, I would have used my rumparooz, they are really trim and you can get hemp inserts for them. Now I use a Blueberry Bamboo Minky, but it was too bulky until DS was about 3 months. I have also heard good things about sbish fitteds, but haven't tried them yet.
Good luck!

We are using a Softbums Omni stuffed with an organic flip insert.

My dd will be a month old this Friday and she sleeps all night without having a diaper change. We use either an Imse Vimse (IV) nb Terry contour in an IV Velcro wool cover, or an Esbaby size 1 bamboo fitted in the same cover. Both are great and leak-proof for us.

Re: Best night time option for 1 month old

Thanks everyone, some options I can make do with what I already have. I do have a little $$ right now so I might look into the sbish fitteds since I have been wanting to try one of those anyway. I have 2 pair of longies and a bottombumpers wool wrap so maybe that would work.
We got several packs of sposies at the shower so I had been using those at night but I don't want to buy more when they run out.

Re: Best night time option for 1 month old

We have been using Bumgenius one size pockets at night since our ds was a month old. (He's 4 months now) We haven't had any leaks and he's even slept through the night a few times without a diaper change at all! =)
