Re: best nightime solution don't want to use sposies

we currently use 1 of 3 solutions we have:

1 drybees fleece night time pocket with a microfiber insert and a thirsties hemp insert or wahmies fold to fit bamboo insert

2 SoftBums Omni with either a super dry touch pod snapped on top or a bamboo pod and bamboo mini pod stuffed in the pocket

3 Thirsties duo fab fitted diaper with a thirsties hemp insert with a duo wrap over it.

btw I also have these included in my new overnight cloth trial program too

Stuff an organic Flip insert inside your BG 3.0's! I've been doing this for my baby since he was 4 months old and never had a leak!

Re: best nightime solution don't want to use sposies

at that age, simply adding a hemp doubler as an insert (along with the MF) worked well....though now she is peeing out of that

Flip organic with a bumGenuis doubler on top...the fleece keeps DD nice and dry. She has gone 17 hours without waking up wet and cranky (and yes, she slept that long, I wouldn't not change her for that long!).

Re: best nightime solution don't want to use sposies

We have a heavy wetter too, didn't start CDing until 8mths but all bc of heavy wetting. Our solution- FuzziBunz- Sized pocket diaper- not OS, with 1 mf insert and 2 hemp inserts! Waaalaaa!!

They get big this way but they work!

It's the only time we use FB. Only at night. Otherwise too big.

Re: best nightime solution don't want to use sposies

I had a very simillar problem with my YDD.......with ODD we didn't have many problems and could use a variety of stuff. YDD was another story. I posted on here and someone suggested the flip organic insert in a BG 3.0 and that worked for awhile but then the leaks started again. Here's what I've had luck with:
- sbish snapless fitted with wool cover (I just wish these were stay dry)
-Drybees Fleece pocket stuffed with flip organic insert
-GAD hemp pocket fitted (stuffed with flip organic) and wool cover

I was at my wits end with sposies...every single night dd was waking up drenched no matter what brand of sposies I tried so when I began cd'ing I made it my mission to find a solution for her. We have been using sbish fitteds and wool exclusively for nighttime for over 13 months now and have NEVER had a single leak...NEVER. She sleeps 12-14 hrs and is a heavy wetter. I was hesitant to buy them b/c they're pricey but they're my holy grail night solution now...I currently have 13 of them because I love them so much!

Have you tried sticking a stay dry liner in there so he can't tell when he's wet? My dd doesn't seem to notice if she's wet in her bg 3.0s but pulls off her BGEs just as soon as she wets in them a little bit.
