I am right now! My son is in the phase where he still pees in his "underpants" just a little bit every time, then realizes he needs to pee in the potty and runs to finish there. So it's nice to have him in something a little thicker so that the outside doesn't get wet and his pants stay dry. We put him in regular, thin underwear for a week so he'd catch on, then back to the Sandy's when he started realizing he was peeing and started running to the potty and we just call them underwear and it's been fine! And if we go out I can just pull on a MEAF cover just in case; it's pretty low-stress. They fit my 1 year old too (so do the small Sandys) so that keeps things simple too.

oh maybe this would work for us too. DD is a very stubborn PL'er. She is able to fully dress herself, so it would be nice if she could at least put her own diaper on.

Yeah, they're really stretchy and easy to pull up. My son can't dress himself and needed help pulling up most of the regular underwear we got him but he does fine with the Sandys.

My daughter is just starting to dress herself but it's hard to pull up pants let alone undies.

Which do you have? I am wanting to get the colors to keep it fun!

We are!!!
DS is 2 and about 47lbs. We use the Sandy's Toddler size as pull ups. He's been doing very well. They are easy to pull down in a hurry & easy for him to pull them up too.
When we are at home we go pantless/coverless. When we go out, we do use Huggies Pull ups.

Oh, and we dyed all his plain Sandy's into 'boyish' colors...and I did put some iron ons onto them that have Diego, Dora, Backyardigans, etc.... he doesn't want to pee on the characters, so it helps!
I sewed the iron ons on because in the first hot wash, they came off. LOL

We did. They functioned like a pullup but I could unsnap them for poop accidents, which was really nice! They looked like underwear. She didn't know the difference. But we used the Toddle-Ease for my ginormous older DD. Younger DD trained WAY before I was ready and we just used her aplix dipes. She could take those off herself.
