Newborn Diaper Rankings

OK, these aren't based on surveys I sent out (I will do a separate post of that), but I wanted to share with all of you what diapers have worked well for my 7 pound newborn. I have a more detailed version of this on my site with pics though. This is just MY OWN rankings...I am sure a lot of these diapers have different reviews based on different babies. I just wanted to share my rankings so far.

I am going to keep updating my site(and here, if I have time) as I try more diapers.

1. sposoeasy with snaps - easy to put on, only one leak
2. little boppers ai2 - never a leak, a little bulky
3. Ragababe 2 step - only leaked once, poop gets on cover, VERY trim
4. sposoeasy with velcro - longer to dry, leakproof, laundry tabs not so effective
5. Little boppers fitted - leak proof, but have to put a cover over it. SO SOFT
6. Kissaluvs - leakproof, a little crunchy, have to put on under a cover
7. Bummis Original cover - SO trim! Inside not as wipeable as other covers
8. XS Thirsties cover - a little bulky, but leak free
9. GroVia Newborn - CUTE, trim, leak free, loooong time to dry
10. Orange GMD prefolds - I don't get it...my baby is TINY and I can hardly get these to fit (using jelly roll and snappi)
11. Ragababe AIO - have had several leaks, I hear this works better with a little bit heavier of a baby (the 2 step is perfect for a smaller baby)
12. Rumparooz Lil Joeys - Leaked EVERY time but once, very trim
13. Softbums Echo - leaked every time (bamboo insert and stay dry insert)
14. Fuzzibunz XS - doesn't fit my 7 pound baby
15. Nanas Bottoms newborn- trim, but leaked every time. I think this is for a TINY baby

I hope this helps!!! Are there any that you think I should try (aw dang, why do I ask that, that just feeds my fluff mail addiction!)

you should try small bottombumpers. They are great! The aplix in the smalls makes for a great fit.

Thanks for this! I did notice while prepping that the Grovia NB take a long time to dry...2 full cycles later they were still a teeny bit damp.
I'm going to do mostly NB pfs and Thirsties Duo 1 covers and fitteds and wool, but it's good to know what others' experiences are. I have a few of the diapers you listed in my stash.

Bleh I wish prefolds would work. I love putting them on...but I guess I got the wrong size.
I do have a duo 1...I will post pics of that shortly. I also have two wool longies on order... I can't wait for them to arrive!
