I went to ISO to post and it says I have to join to be a seller first? Why? I've never sold anything here. I just give it away when I am done with it. I don't want to register to be a seller just to BUY stuff. does that make sense?

Rules are rules. You need to apply and be approved. It is really easy and done quickly.

I looked at the application. let me think on it. thats awfully "big brother" just to buy an item.

We debated leaving the ISO's and FFS out of the change but had all seen scams run in both those forums. I can tell you that there are only a handful of women who have access to the info we are asking for.It is not sold or anything else like that at all

I can vouch for the scamming in FFS. I got taken by a momma over a $2 dipe... and so did several other mamas as well... that can add up if you get enough. It seems invasive, but it's the steps that have had to be taken to protect us on here, and I've heard it has helped weed out a few questionable people too.

I understand that. I myself have bought several items that were not quite what the seller made them to be, and a few that I never received, never got a refund for. To just buy something though........really the power is all in the SELLER's hands. If I buy it and pay for it and then I don't receive it......thats my loss.

Well it is there for the protection of all our members, you don't have to apply for it, it is not being forced on anyone. If your uncomfortable, then don't apply or hold off until you feel comfortable. To use the iso area you do need the fsot badge since trades happen in there.

or a letter from my 3rd grade teacher! I like my anonymity online though. I have a stalker ex. I'd rather he not find me in places that are my safe places.
