What do you do for "me time"?

The shower, the toilet, the grocery store and umm.....the occasional one hour trip to the library.

I watch TV on my phone during lunch at work. I go to individual therapy once a week and get to be totally self-centered the whole time. I listen to podcasts before I go to sleep and on my commute (and sometimes during work). I love the manic mommies podcast because their lives our crazy busy like mine and they make it funny.
The me time I want back is my bubble baths. DD always wants to climb in with me and take her bath too. It was sweet and convenient when she was a baby but now that she is 3 1/2 it is too crowded and not at all relaxing.

I read for an hour before going to bed every night. Even if that gets me an hour less of sleep I’m ok with it, but I need to read to get a break for myself.

I like to leave the house to run errands. Leave baby with her dad. It's nice!

In my case its late night reading when DD is asleep! But in first two years there were no "me time” at all! That phase was quite frustrating.

I don't have me time, but I do have a me thing. The iPad is mine and I am the only one who uses it. There are no kid apps and they know it's mamas special thing. Aside from mama cloth, this is my only special item...and when I use it, I feel special ;-)

I work nights/weekends when dh is home with dd so he really doesn't watch her any other time for me to go do something alone. But I do go to the YMCA during the week do I can work out and shower while they watch her in the childcare. That is huge for me.

Run or clean/organize. I sound so boring when I say that, but both of those things destress and refocus me.
