even though you saw it with your own eyes?

I've held onto hope, but knew the truth in the back of my head.

Oh all the time! LOL

I think for me it is because I still like to have the possibility of a surprise. Kind of like having peeked under the wrapping, but not having seen the entire present.

I don't think I thought it was wrong, but after having two VERY ACTIVE little boys in a row I kinda hoped maybe some parts might fall off in between the US and birth. But now that ds is here we LOVE that he is a boy. Gender never really matters to us but I am dying for some ruffles after all these boys.

Yep but there is zero doubt he is a he. After about a dozen ultrasounds, it is clear.

Maybe not convinced it was wrong, but paranoid that it would be.
When DD was born and they put her on my chest I lifted her leg up to make sure everything was as we had prepared.

Re: Have you ever been convinced the u/s is wrong...

I was so sure the u/s tech was wrong with DS2. I was sure that what I was being told was boy parts was actually the cord.

Nope, definitely a boy. And his boy parts look JUST like the u/s.. lol.

Re: Have you ever been convinced the u/s is wrong...

I have to say I am a bit nervous about it being wrong this time around! I have never really wondered before, but this time was the WORST US EVER! Seriously lasted over an hour (I had to get up TWICE to pee), the US tech that did it kept saying the baby wasn't cooperative, but honestly I wonder sometimes. I was beginning to think something was wron gw/ the heart b/c she spent over 15 minutes trying to get a good look at it, and I"m not sure if she ever got a good enough pic of the Kindeys, and she kept complaining the legs were too curled up to get a good measurement of the femur... overall just the WORST US! Now I wonder if the gender part was even accurate.

not me...but dh....lol. he was hoping for girls both times...and the last time, even though we had three different b/w the leg shots, he kept saying it could be the cord, etc.
