whats going on??

i am 39 weeks
so saturday i was throwing up and had LOOSE bm. i think it was a stomach something. so i had contractions every 5 mins all day long. i was tempted to go to L&D but, they didnt hurt and never increased. must have been dehydration.

i went to the dr. this past thurs and he said i was 3cm and stripped my membranes. he said i have NO plug left at all.

last night at like 7pm i went on a crazy cleaning frenzy!

i was loosing alot of thick discharge, plug like but i have to plug for a week now...

i checked my cervix low and open not sure how open but i could def tell there was change since a few days ago i couldnt even find it...

please tell me its any moment now!!!

im more confused with the thick discharge, i mean thick after being told the plug is already gone....

Re: whats going on??

I am sure there are other mama's that can tell more, but your mucus plug regenerates itself. So even if you loose it or part of it, it will reform to prevent bacteria from being introduced. I am sure it will happen soon! GL!!!

You are always creating mucus. Also, if you are dilating more, then you will have thick pink tinged or red tinged mucus. Sounds like it is going to be soon!

Re: whats going on??

The morning that DS2 was born, I had cottage cheese type discharge just falling out of me. It was gross looking but had no smell. I have not had any bloody show with either of my births.

My nonmedical opinion is that you are at the state of labor. It sounds like you are definately making some cervical changes. Keep on the move, that is what helped me mentally at least.
