Teething

My poor little 10 month old DD. She's been teething for over a week now. She's getting her top 2 front teeth. Any advice on what to do for pain relief?? Besides meds.

cold wash cloth or a frozen one.

get one of those munchkin mesh food bags and put some frozen grapes in it.

give her something hard to chew on...Em likes to chew on wooden spoons

DS loves to chew on little wooden spoons. We took wet washcloths and put them in the freezer and that worked too - short lived though as they defrost quickly but sometimes it just takes a little bit.

Re: Teething

We used Amber teething necklace with my DD and DS has worn his pretty much since birth. He is teething now and isn't very grumpy about it. Clove oil is also good to rub on the gums to help numb sore area. Just make sure its food grade EO. There are also some homeopathic over the counter tablets you can get. I believe that Humphreys was recalled but there is another brand out there. I have found homeopathics very helpful with many different things.

Ice chips and wooden spoons. DD likes frozen chicken nuggets. I dropped one on the floor and she snatched it right up and wanted another when the first one thawed out. She just had 6 teeth emerge all at once, so nights have been awful. I give her Ibuprofen. so she can sleep. Tylenol doesn't cut it here.
