partial relaxed elastic wwyd?

i recently purchased 2 bg 4.0 that were described as excellent condition rarely used. i received them today and they both look perfect except that on the back elastic the left side isnt as strechy as the right side, its about an inch on both of them. do i say anything, is it a big deal? i'm not currently CDing we are still TTC so i dont really know if it is going to effect them or not. if it makes a difference i paid $28ppd for them.

Yes, you paid too much! I wouldn't have paid but maybe $16 for two in that condition. Maybe the original mama didn't realize? I would just ask for a refund. It will be a problem when you put them on your baby because one leg will be too loose, plus, since you won't be using them for at least 9 months, the elastic could degenerate more in that time of laying around.

I'm going through an issue right now too with a sale not like described.

Are you saying just the back elastic seems loose? Or the left leg is loose? The back elastic (well, all the elastic) is in a casing so it moves around freely. Which doesn't make sense that just one side of the back elastic is loose. That's why I wonder if it was the leg elastic you're referring to. if the leg elastic is clearly loose, then I'd talk to the seller as item not described and ask for a partial refund.

I don't think $28ppd is outrageous for barely used 4.0's if they really are barely used.

ETA: I also wasn't sure what the one inch was measuring. Again, if it's the leg elastic is one 1" longer than the other? Then that's a problem.

Okay, now I'm confused too, how if it's the back left and right can be different? I just assumed you meant leg elastic.
