kawaii bamboo inserts??
Anyone try kawaii bamboo inserts?
I really love my weehuggers bamboo inserts but they are a bit pricey. Online it says that they are best for newborns/small babies...anyone use them for bigger babes? Thanks, Fadilah |

Re: kawaii bamboo inserts??
Yeah, you get what you pay for in this case. We use the bamboo inserts as doublers, and that's about all they're good for. You might try searching hyena cart or etsy to see if you can find something a little cheaper. But I wouldn't recommend the Kawaii.

Re: kawaii bamboo inserts??
I have given them out to two moms (mom label ones, which are heavier than the blue label) along with regular microfiber ones. The feedback I have is that after prepped, they work about as well as Kawaii microfiber. So they are not more absorbent than the microfiber, just trimmer, which is why the moms like them.
ETA: also the mom label bamboo minky diapers fit larger toddlers a little better than the others.

Re: kawaii bamboo inserts??
I like them fine, I find them to hold almost exactly as much as a microfiber insert like Sarai said
I love how trim they are, but they did shrink up sort of wierd after a few goes in the dryer. I like the better than microfiber because they are much trimmer and I hate touching microfiber.

I use them on my 2 boys ( 2 1/2 yr and 18 mos) and they have been working just fine. They hold pretty well and are definitely trimmer than the microfiber. They were my first try and so far so good with them!

Re: kawaii bamboo inserts??
Wow I almost ordered 30 of them. I am not sure now. I guess I'll wait till I get my bamboo diaper from them and see if I like it...
