Are bottombumpers and heavy wetters compatible?

Does anyone know how well Bottombumpers hold up to heavy wetters?

They work well for us during daytime, but don't hold up to naps with the included insert.

I think they are a very trim day time diaper but I would never use them at nap time either. DD1 needed something more absorbent. The smalls worked for DD2 but I changed her more frequently.

My simple answer: NO.

DS could pee through and leak out of a bottombumpers in 20 MINUTES. And that was with an extra hemp or bamboo insert

We use them all day long, including naps. He hasn't had a leak, however I do use the extra insert that is made by bottombumpers. I love the onesize diaper!

i have a heavy wetter and they were ok. there are def more absorbent diapers though. i have tried most of the aio's out there for my heavy wetter and come to the conclusion you are def giving up absorbency for ease of use/convenience.

I dont have a heavy wetter but I'd say no. they're good for daytime and I can use them for naps but they are on the light side.

Yep, what she said! Makes me sad too, because I really love how trim and cute they are

I think so.. My guy soaks through a prefold in 20 minutes but has gone 3+ hours in a bottombumper without a leak.

Not for a heavy wetter. I really like the fit of them, but they aren't terribly absorbent and I find I get wicking from the tabs easily. I wish they were more absorbent!!

BG elementals are much more absorbent.
