What are you dreaming about?
Yes ladies I mean literally. This morning I woke up and thought "did I really dream that?"
I dreamed, what seemed like all night long, that the earth was being destroyed by meteors...lots of them and it was cracking and breaking off in big chunks. The earth was no longer round but flat with a crazy jagged edge where it had broken off. People everywhere were crying and screaming and panicking and there were droves of people jumping off the edge of the earth "ending it all" before things got any worse. While all of this is going on I am painting like the 4th coat of polish on my toenails and singing backup at a Dolly Parton concert! WTH???? Freakin' armageddon is happening and I'm painting my toenails and singing backup for Dolly Parton...I don't know if I should laugh or seek counseling ![]() So please make me feel better and share with everyone here what you're crazy pregnancy dreams are made of

Re: What are you dreaming about?
Haha, that is a hilarious dream!
I have been dremaing about crazy things as well! I am a talker, I talk in my sleep all the time, but lately I have taken to screaming, I was at my sisters house visiting a feww weekends ago, and was sleeping in the basement, the last thought that croseed my mind before I fell asleep involoved the unfinished ceileng above me and the possibility of falling spiders, I then had a dream that there was a large spider on the floor that was about to jump up on the bed. I literally jumped out of bed and ran SCREAMING my face off into the main part of the basement. My sister came running downstairs and her husband, was heading to the garage to get his gun, no joke! He said he has never heard anybody scream like that. I couldn't stop crying and then laughing and then i cried again, it was crazy! And the other night I woke up screaming my face off because there was some sort of spinning spiral vortex in my room. My dreams have been so vivid and realistic, it is frightening! |

Re: What are you dreaming about?
My dreams have been weird, funny, and scary.
Some of the more recent ones have been vivid, detailed and horrifying. My dh works nights and I ended up having to call him to make sure he was fine b/c he had died in my dream. It went so far into it all that I was trying to figure out whether to move me and the boys into a smaller place and pay it off or pay off our current house. Horrible.

Re: What are you dreaming about?
I am so tired of crazy dreams. Like pps have said sometimes they are horrible like DS drowning. I have had a problem with nightmares and just bizzare dreams my entire life but during pregnancy they are completely out of control. I wake up feeling like I've run a marathon, not rested and ready to face the day. Also pregnancy gives me bad insomnia from day one so either I can't sleep or I'm so tired I fall instantly into deep sleep and dream freakish things all night long. I'm very tired.

Re: What are you dreaming about?
I had really super-vivid dreams when I was pregnant with DD (usually about someone dying or being in danger and I couldn't save them) - not so much this time, though I have been having more... ahem... "adult" dreams.
![]() I did have a dream two nights ago that I gave birth in the bath tub! I had something similar with DD - I couldn't wake DH and couldn't get the MW on the phone, so I just went and crouched down in the bath tub and did it myself. I wrapped my baby up in a towel and was walking around the house holding her and doing dishes and stuff. It was a very empowering dream. This time DH was awake and there with me, and I think it was intentional (even though we're planning a hospital water birth) although it went very smoothly and I wasn't in any pain. I think this is what I get for reading my Hypnobirthing book before bed. ![]() Given the horror show I was expecting after DD's departure and the subsequent m/c's, I'm glad my birth dreams always seem to result in a live, healthy child.

Re: What are you dreaming about?
I've been having on and off vivid dreams, I think because I pee so much at night I remember them even better. The other night I was dreaming about spirit demons trying to get me!! The past few days have been sex dreams though, I don't mind those at all!! lol
